It Started With Our Own Homelab
Reclaimed Node began the same way most homelabs do: with a rack in a spare room and a lot of questions about what hardware was actually worth buying. Working through those questions put us in touch with the wider homelab community, and it became clear we weren't the only ones building.
More people are moving to self-hosted infrastructure every year, and the reasons have gotten more concrete: running local AI models, keeping large media and photo libraries under their own roof, backing up family data without a subscription, and building the hands-on experience that careers in IT are built on.
We started sourcing and reselling equipment to support that work, and it grew into the business it is today. Reclaimed Node LLC refurbishes and resells enterprise-grade servers, workstations, networking, and GPUs — giving decommissioned datacenter hardware a second life for individuals and businesses alike.

Tested When We Can, Covered When We Can't
We test every item we have the hardware to test. Some of what comes in needs a platform we don't have on hand, so not everything can be tested before it is listed.
Items we could not test are covered by our 7-day dead-on-arrival guarantee. You get a week from delivery to test it yourself.
What Happens When Hardware Comes In
Inbound inspection
Every item is visually inspected when it arrives. We check its physical condition and confirm the model and part numbers.
Cleaning
Every item is cleaned of dust and debris before it is photographed and listed.
Functionality testing
Whenever we have the hardware to run it, we power the item on and test that it works. The listing says whether an item was tested.

Contact us within 7 days of delivery
Tell us what you are seeing. We will work with you on the return.

Send the item back
We check that it is the same item we shipped, in the same condition.

We confirm the defect
If we have the hardware to test it, we test it to verify that it is defective.

You get a refund
If the item is defective, we refund it and cover the return label. If it is not defective, the return label is not covered.
